Śrī Mātā

On this tenth day of Śārad Navarātri, we celebrate Vijayadaśamī. We bow to Mother Kamalātmikā, the Divine Mother who embodies abundance, prosperity, and the fullness of life. She invites us to examine the thoughts that prevent us from receiving Her blessings. On this ninth day of Śārad Navarātri, we bow to Mother Mātaṅgī, who invites us to look beyond the distinctions we create between what we consider pure and impure, acceptable and unacceptable. She reminds us to question our judgments and look more deeply at what we are quick to reject. On this eighth day of Śārad Navarātri, we bow to Mother Bagalāmukhī, who teaches us the power of stillness and restraint. She reminds us that not every thought needs to be spoken and not every impulse needs to be acted upon. On this seventh day of Śārad Navarātri, we bow to Mother Dhūmāvatī, who helps us let go of things that no longer serve us and discover what remains when we release what we cling to. On this sixth day of Śārad Navarātri, we bow to Mother Chinnamastā. She reminds us that so much of what we call “I” is shaped by our roles, experiences, and the stories we tell ourselves about who we are. On this fifth day of Śārad Navarātri, we bow to Mother Bhairavī, whose blessings awaken discipline, courage, and the determination to walk the path of transformation.

I offer my obeisance to the Divine Mother and to my Guru, Om Swami.

My writings emerge from tantra sādhanā, study of those who have written extensively on the Divine Mother, and from my Guru, Om Swami. This work began as a long-held intention that slowly gathered form, shaped above all by a quiet and steady turning toward the Great Goddess, the Divine Mother, who has profoundly changed the way I experience life.

At its heart, this space is an ongoing inquiry into the Divine Mother and what it means to turn inward and remain there long enough. Rather than approaching these teachings as purely philosophical or symbolic, I write about how they are encountered inwardly.

At the same time, this work is also an outpouring of love for the Divine Mother. This devotion has taken many forms. At times it feels like remembrance and surrender. Other times, it is simply the recognition that everything seen, experienced, and longed for is already held within Her. This love has gradually deepened through practice, contemplation, repeated turning inward, and above all, through the grace of my Guru. And it is this devotion that ultimately holds the writing together, even when language feels insufficient.
